Ever Since Andrea's accident, my other roommate has become EXTREMELY nice to us.....hmmmm. :( Its sad, when a tragic (Tragic for me. I still have a hard time walking into the room in the dark. Especially when Andrea's clothes are on the ground. Her clothes lying on the ground in the dark, almost gave me a heart attack last week. I had to grab onto the wall, to keep from falling over.) thing happens, but it resolves a problem. I wish that wouldn't have happened. Poor Andrea has had the worst first semester of College, out of anyone I know. She fell off of her bed, fracturing her nose. Air got into her eye socket, resulting in her eye swelling up. (Looked like she had a golf ball behind her eyelid. *spine shiver* THAT was scary....) Fractured elbow, and now she has to reconstructive surgery on her nose, because.....I can't remember why, but she can only breath out of one nostril. Her bone in her wrist is also separating, and she is going to have to have surgery on it, to put pins in the bone. OH! I can't forget all the blood! *double spine shiver* Oh my word. That was the scariest experience of my life. Especially since her blood was all over me too! I have NEVER seen so much blood come from someones nose before. (I am SO glad I don't get bloody noses! I should have gotten them quite a few times too! :) I am just durable, I guess. After all the soccer/volley/tether balls that have smacked me in the face...yeah. I am pretty durable. Especially since I might (the doctor said it was quite possible that I fractured my nose, because it was still sore after several months. and I don't mean one or two, I mean like four or five.) have fractured my nose after the tether ball incident....oh I am getting off topic, sorry. ) I am alright with blood, but THAT was just terrifying. I am not going to be able to forget that experience very easily. Sigh.......Yeah, she has had one heck of a first semester.
