          So, I emailed Brother Bascom about the homework....I should just find the email and put it down here.....nah, I'll just put it on my journal. Anyway, I have been so stressed about these assignments....I FINALLY (Thank goodness, I swear I was going to die of stress, if she didn't come through) got a tutor last Saturday. She showed me how to do one of the assignments, and I was soooo happy. I actually understood it. I started it on my own, (in the fishbowl because I wouldn't do it if I went home) and then......(dun dun dun)....I forgot it all, all she had shown me! All that I had understood just minutes before! ALL GONE! :( I was soo mad at myself! My brain doesn't like anything unless its vocal music and.....apparently CPR...(I am so surprised that I remember that, AND all the life guarding techniques...weird..) I was so mad. I called my mother, and started crying.....frustratedly. (This was all on Saturday by the way, not yesterday during the.....yeah well, I won't go into that one again. I am more boy, remember? ;) I don't like holding grudges) I went back to the tutor on....yesterday...yeah, and she explained it again to me. I have it now! :) She and Nick are the only ones who have EVER been able to get get the music stuff to actually penetrate my brain and stay there! Of course, everything seeps out slowly, even though I practice it. So I like to have Nick and Kaiti (the tutor) go over it with me again. I do feel so stupid when I have to ask them for help over and over again. :( Especially if its something that was just explained......sigh, yeah well, thats my life right now. Why doesn't music just come to me like it does to everyone else in my family? Dad: trumpet, Katie: Bassoon, piano, composer, Maddie: violin (a year), piano, Brendon: starting piano, Mom: guitar.......Whitney: violin, and no clue about anything else to do with music. I have sat down and watched Katie Mae write her songs, and I think my mouth was hanging open....how the heck does she understand this stuff???? (.....wow, I got WAY off of my original subject) Brother Bascom is giving me Thanksgiving break to finish these (about 19 or 20 assignments...yeah I know W.O.W.!!) Thats a whole week extra! I am so very grateful!I am sooo grateful! Oh my gosh, I was sooo overwhelmed! I was even jealous of Cloe! There are so many wonderful people up here! I never knew I would love it up here so much (I thought I would hate it! NO MOUNTAINS!!! no, those aren't mountains, those are hills. ;) lol, but no, seriously those are hills) I am so grateful to Heavenly Father for this wonderful experience and wonderful teacher and tutor and mentor. I couldn't have asked for anything better!
